IET Computer Rooms

Duties:

All duties expected of Computer Room Consultant Trainee and the following:

• Interact and build relationships with faculty and instructors
• Provide intermediate computer consulting to faculty, students and staff
• Perform intermediate to advanced troubleshooting of hardware and software problems in IET computer classrooms
• Determine the needs of the faculty in the computer classroom
• Provide intermediate to advance consulting on all IET computer classroom software
• Refer faculty, staff and students to other IET services as needed
• Must implement and complete projects beneficial to CLM.
• Create departmental web pages as needed

Requirements:

All requirements listed for Computer Room Consultant Trainee and the following:

• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Adhere to CLM customer service standards and philosophy
• Must have experience working in at least one other IET computer classroom
• Must have working knowledge of Canvas
• Must have knowledge of other IET services
• Must have working knowledge of macOS and Windows
• Must have high level of computer experience
• Must have ability to take the initiative to solve user level problems, suggest improvements, and assist faculty
