Media Lab Moved from 2101 SCC to 78 Hutchison Hall
Information and Educational Technology (IET) moved the IET Media Lab from room 2101 in the Student Community Center (SCC) to room 78 in the basement of Hutchison Hall.
The IET Media Lab in Hutchison has 19 Mac and PC stations, flatbed, slide and document scanners, pen tablets and audio equipment. Media software available includes the Adobe Suite, 3D & CAD software, and other design software. For more for information, please see https://computerrooms.ucdavis.edu.

Where can I access media stations and software?
The media stations and software are now available in the basement of Hutchison Hall. Hutchison Hall is located a short walk from the SCC.

Where can I access other computer labs near the SCC?
IET also has several other computer labs available. For more information, see https://computerrooms.ucdavis.edu. The nearest computer labs are in the basement of Shields and the first floor of Wellman.

Will I still be able to print in the SCC?
Wireless printing is available in the SCC outside of room 2102. For more information on wireless printing, please visit: print.ucdavis.edu

Are the classrooms moving?
The classrooms in Rooms 2102 and 2013 are not moving and will continue to hold classes as usual.
For class support, a Computer Room Consultant (CRC) will be available outside of room 2102.
If you need access to media hardware and software before or after class, you will need to visit the new location of the IET Media Lab at 78 Hutchison Hall.

Can I access drop-in computers in the SCC?
There are no longer drop-in computers available in the SCC. Rooms 2102 and 2103 will occasionally be available for drop-in use when classes are not in session.
