Computer Lab Managememnt
Summer 2004 Statistical Summary

Computer Lab Management (CLM) tracks several activities associated with the operations of 15 computing facilities on a quarterly basis. This information represents data gathered from June 21 to September 29 on computer classrooms, open access labs, and media facilities. The time period of data collection corresponds to the academic calendar's Summer Session I and II. CLM closes several of its facilities during the summer months to perform renovations and upgrades. In addition, facilities are closed to coincide with the academic demands in the summer. This summer, 13 of the 15 facilities were open at some point during the summer to accommodate demand around scheduled computer hardware and software upgrades. As a result of special summer instruction funding, CLM was able to open an additional facility for drop in use.

This statistical summary is intended to be used in conjunction with theComputer Lab Management Quarterly Report. While the quarterly report identifies crucial projects and status of goals for CLM, this statistical summary provides information on the success of operations and information about clients' usage of computer facilities.
